Information regarding recycling

The crossed-out trash can symbol on your product, battery, literature, or packaging reminds you that all electrical and electronic products, batteries, and accumulators must be taken to separate collection at the end of their working life. This requirement applies in the European Union. Do not dispose of these products as unsorted municipal waste.

Always return your used electronic products, batteries, and packaging materials to a dedicated collection point. This way you help prevent uncontrolled waste disposal and promote the recycling of materials. Batteries can contain mercury, lead or cadmium – substances that are harmful to our health and our environment. More detailed information is available from the product retailer, local waste authorities or your national producer responsibility organization.

  2. The monitor is dark but the red power indicator on the monitor is lit.
  3. The monitor is showing “No Signal”.
  1. There is no power to the monitor.
    1. Make sure the machine engine is running to provide power to the outlet.
    2. Check the power connection to the monitor. If the cigarette adapter is used, the red LED on the adapter will indicate if there is power to the adapter.
    3. Check so the monitor cable end is connected to the cable end which is connected to the power source.
  2. The monitor is not powered on. Press the circular button for 3 seconds.
  3. There is no camera transmitting to the selected channel
    1. Make sure the antennas are fastened on the camera and the monitor, respectively.
    2. Use the arrow buttons to loop through the channels to find the channel the camera is transmitting on.
    3. Make sure the camera is receiving power. A red LED above the camera lens will be lit if the power is connected.
    4. Try to pair the camera with the monitor again (see the “Adding a camera” section)
    5. Move the camera closer to the monitor to see if it’s a distance problem (go to (3) in this section).
  1. There is a screeching noise from the monitor
  1. The camera and monitor are too close to eachother, creating audio feedback
  1. Move the camera further from the monitor or lower the volume (see the “Menu options/Volume” section).

FAQ

  • Can I record the video?
    • Yes, if you insert a micro SD card into the monitor. See the “Installing an SD card” and “Menu options/Record” sections.
  • How do I get the camera to auto pair with the monitor?
    • The trick is to wait until the pairing countdown is shown and then connect the power to the camera. If the power is already on it won’t auto pair. If it’s not practically possible for you to turn the camera power on during the countdown, press the pair button next to the camera antenna instead, using a pen or a paper clip.
  • Can I move the system between different machines?
    • Yes, if you are using the cigarette power outlet for the monitor, and the FlexiPack X battery for the camera, the system is completely flexible and can be freely moved between machines within a few minutes.
  • Is the camera water resistant?
    • Yes, it is IP69K classed which means it can be placed outside exposed to the weather and even cleaned using a pressure washer.
  • Can I use more than one monitor with the same camera?
    • No, that is not possible.
  • Can I use more than one camera to the monitor?
    • Yes, you can have up to 4 cameras connected to the same monitor.
  • Should the extended antenna be used with the monitor or the camera?
    • The extended magnetic antenna (art. no. 5027) fits with both the camera and the monitor. However, placing the antenna on the transmitting (camera) side will give a better effect.
  • Why does the frame rate sometimes drop when I’m driving?
    • This occurs as the signal reception is depending on the surroundings. You can improve the general signal reception by using a larger antenna.
  • Will the camera break at very low temperatures?
    • No, at extremely low temperatures the camera might turn off, but it will regain its functionality when the temperature goes higher again.
  • Can I loop the channels in split screen mode?
    • No, that is not possible.
